We start by assessing the architecture and the parameters of your space, we factor in your personality, and then—here’s the key—we LISTEN to you: what are your needs, how do you want to use the space, is a six seat island in your two bedroom condo essential? Once you hire us you can breathe a sigh of relief. We work with you to finalize the plans and pick out finishes, but then you’re off the hook. Our team orders and receives the materials, delivers them to the job site, selects a general contractor based on bids we acquire, and project manages the entire remodel and installation. You’ll probably have to live with some dust for a few days, but trust us…it’s worth it.
For the DIY’ers out there looking for sage advice, we can help you too. Our licensed and professional team demystifies the interior designer through our affordable hourly consults. We’ll come to your space, tell you what we would change, give you an approximate price to make those changes a reality, point you in the direction of where to shop for the right furnishings, create a to-do list for you, and then follow up with you at a later date to see how well you did. But never fear, if you get bogged down we can step in, wave our magic wand and finish the project for you.

WHO WE ARE
A natural born entrepreneur, Emily Mackie had a thriving t-shirt and earring business (and a line of credit at the local craft store) by the time she was 12. Her decade plus of design experience encompasses Kitchen and Bathroom Design, Custom Furniture Design and Specification, Architectural Finish Selection, Commercial and Residential Design, Historic/Landmark Restoration, and Construction Documentation and Budgeting. She holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts with a major in Interior Design, a National Council for Interior Design Qualifications (NCIDQ) certificate and an Illinois license in Interior Design, but she won’t hold back when it comes to solving a design challenge. If she and the team can create a kosher kitchen for a family of 10, they can help you too.
